About Mobile Synergetics
What is Mobile Synergetics? We coined the term to conceptualize the holistic enhancement of our global surface transportation ecosystem that will result from widespread adoption of intelligent transport systems (ITS), cooperative mobility, ubiquitous wireless, adaptive navigation (pdf), vehicle telematics, electric vehicles, and other, unimagined future transportation modes and technologies.
Among the obvious potential benefits of the advent of Mobile Synergetics are:
- More efficient use of individual, societal, and environmental resources
- Reduced energy consumption and carbon footprint
- Improved safety and security
- Transformational advancements to passenger convenience and comfort
It’s been estimated that by 2030, over 2 billion motor vehicles will populate our planet (see graph below). In light of our world’s dwindling oil supply and its strained environment, we clearly must learn to do more with less.
